Its a push feed which means if you short stroke the bolt you can get a jam that I guarantee will take you half an hour to un-jam. Im thinking a 6 creedmoore with a proof carbon barrel, MDT onyx chassis, timmey trigger but cant decide on the action. I have mostly x bolt now and really like them but dont think onyx chassis is made for brownings so thinking the tikka t3x but wanted your opinion. I seriously am not sure how you can improve on it. Mine is in 223 for chucks. Its a good quality scope for shooting out to 300 yards but doesnt have adjustable turrets so if youll want to do some long-distance shooting, order it without a scope. Theres also no shortage of cartridges that send a 6.5mm bullet at much higher velocities than the Swede so I have to assume by your metric those are all superior to the Swede? Its an EXCELLENT do-all caliber. The forend felt fat and a bit chunky, and the detachable mag looks like it could get in the way when carrying, hunting, using rests, etc. So I do still think they have some QC issues to deal with. In regards to the Howa 1500 I got one in 300 PRC, it had a Houge stock, I installed a Bell & Carlson, put a Konos M30 on top and got a group the size of a 50 cent piece at a 100 yards.
